Record clamps
The AMG record clamp fixes the record securely and powerfully to the platter, centered, flat and vibration-free. Developed for the Giro MK II, Viella and Viella Forte models, it forms the acoustic bridge between the medium and the turntable. The result is an audibly more stable sound image, with increased resolution, better spatial imaging and more precise bass control.
In the center of our turntable is a small, precisely fitting plastic inlay, inconspicuous but effective in terms of sound. It raises the label slightly,
so that the record is pressed evenly onto the turntable when the screw clamp is tightened. A simple but extremely effective method for optimizing the flatness.
Made from high-quality materials, precisely processed and matched to the AMG turntables, an inconspicuous detail with a big impact. For all those who want to get the maximum truth, depth and musical substance out of every groove.
The instrumentation :

The magnetic anti-skating system :
Magnetically acting and detailed adjustable anti-skating for perfectly centered and distortion-free groove scanning.
The VTA :
Precisely calibratable and positionable height adjustment with precise verification by the integrated bubble level.
The internal wiring :
Gold plated connector joints, in-house manufactured cables with specific twisting to eliminate magnetic field resonances and discontinuities.
The integrated azimuth adjustment :
Exact adjustment with integrated fine-thread adjustment screw for perfectly aligned groove scanning.
The arm tube :
The ratio of cross-section to unsupported length is precisely matched to the material specifications of the quality aluminum used, guaranteeing the lowest possible resonance behavior.
The counterweight as the basis of dynamics :
Two-piece stainless steel counterweight for perfect weight adjustment. Significantly higher dynamics and directness of the needle due to optimized force/mass distribution throughout the tonearm system.
